A plate decorated in blue and manganese. On the rim one may notice an acanthus leaf motif. On the well of one plate there are two engraved letters spelling ‘MÁ’. The other plate, has the letters ‘BOA’.

It is believed that both plates belonged to the same set. However, the meaning of the words ‘MÁ’ and ‘BOA’ is unknown, even though, in Portuguese, ‘MÁ’ means bad and ‘BOA’ means good.
