The Guimarães Castle was awarded with the prize Five Stars Regions in the category “National Monuments”.  

On March 2, 2020, those who wish to buy tickets for the Guimarães Castle must do so exclusively in the Ducal Palace. This adjustment was so made in order to improve the functionality in the Latito Hill's monuments so that visitors may be best served.
