An attack weapon that consists of a long pole surmounted by a sharp peak at the base from which two blades are laterally connected; on one side there is a half-moon shaped blade, resembling an axe blade; on the other, a hook-shaped blade.

The halberd was an offensive weapon used by infantry to dismount an attacking rider during combat, thus making it easier to eliminate him.
