Origin: Unknown

Material: Stone
Dimensions (cm): 54 x 69 x 97

Coarse parallelepiped stone, irregular in shape, with two rounded cavities: one to measure teigas (old Portuguese unit) and another to measure bushels. Each of these cavities have inclined holes, so that contents could be emptied easily after having confirmed the quantity to be traded.

The teiga is believed to measure the volume of solids (cereal) and would correspond to 4 bushels (LOPES, 2003: 131).
