PALACE OUT OF HOURS In order to respond to the increasing number of visitors, the opening hours of the Ducal Palace will be extended. From the 1st of July to the 31st of August, the Monument will be open between 9AM and 8PM, being the last admission at 7:30PM. The Guimarães Castle and the Church of S. Miguel will maintain their usual opening hours: between 10AM and 6PM, being the last admission at 5:30PM.

This Monday, May 9, the Castle will be closed to public until 2:00PM. A filming session will take place, which will make it impossible for visitors to visit the Monument. After 2:00 PM, the visitation will take place unhindered until 6:00PM and the last admission is at 5:30PM.

As usual, on the 1st of May, the monuments of the Latito Hill (Guimarães Castle, Church of S. Miguel and the Ducal Palace) will be closed to public. On the 3rd of May, due to a State Protocol event, the Ducal Palace will also be closed. However, on this day, the Guimarães Castle and the Church of S. Miguel will be open to public. Please note that the acquisition of tickets to visit the Castle is only possible at the entrance of the Ducal Palace.
